From Emmaus, PA, Stephanie is a writer and director for film and theatre.  She received a Masters of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied in Singapore.  Stephanie has participated in masterclasses and screenwriting workshops where she wrote and developed feature screenplays under the tutelage of Oliver Stone (Platoon), Todd Solondz (Happiness), Richard Wesley (Uptown Saturday Night), and Sabrina Dhawan (Monsoon Wedding).  As a freelance filmmaker and playwright, past clients include Elie Wiesel, Yale University, Urban Stages, and Miller Symphony Hall.  Stephanie worked as a first and second round reader for the 2015 Austin Film Festival Screenwriting Competition.  Her film And If I Stay, played NewFilmmakers NY at the historic Anthology Film Archives, and was selected by the International Festival of Cinematic Arts LA.  Love Yourself by Tha Gecko Brothas, a music video she directed which speaks out against domestic violence, played at the 2015 Harlem International Film Festival.  Her film, If I Had A Piano (I’d Play You The Blues) has won Best of Show at the Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmakers Festival; an Award of Merit: Special Mention through the Accolade Global Film Competition; Best Screenwriting from the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival; and the Jury Prize for Excellence in Narrative Filmmaking and an Audience Choice Award from the Southern Colorado Film Festilval.

SHIVANI KHATTAR, director of photography      directora de fotografía

Shivani began to develop her foundation as a visual storyteller in theatre, winning several accolades in India for her work as a theatre actor and director.  She received training under some of the greatest theatre legends in India including the late Shri Habib Tanvir.  She then moved into film and video working as a freelance cinematographer and editor for documentaries, TV pilots and radio news features.  She worked as an Assistant Producer at Spot Films, New Delhi an independent TV/ News Features Agency, and worked for a year in Northeast-India at the height of its militant insurgency on a media project for DFID and Internews Europe to promote human rights awareness on issues involving people living with HIV/AIDS in the region.  She got her Masters of Arts degree in Filmmaking from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Asia where she received the NYU Graduate production award for her thesis film, Noor, as well as the Paulette Godard Scholarship two years in a row.  During her time at NYU she shot over ten short films; narrative and documentaries that have been screened at international film festivals including Palm Springs International Film Festival, South by Southwest, Salt Lake City International Film Festival, and Clermont Ferrand.  She is one of the founders of Films for People, a film company involved in the production of socially relevant films in South-East Asia.  As part of Films for People she has been involved in the production of films in Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, India, Singapore and the United States.  She was involved in shooting an independent documentary feature about the sex industry of Cambodia titled, Night Mothers, in addition to developing a feature script that was shortlisted for the Cannes Residence du Festival in 2012.

GUILLEM GUTIERREZ SAURA, assistant director

Guillem Gutiérrez Saura was born in Spain in 1992. He started making films at the early age of 12. Guillem's passion to film drove him to study filmmaking in Spain while he directed Ellas, a well known webseries in his county of origin. After he finished his degree in Spain he went to the US to complete one more year of filmmaking at the New York Film Academy.  His thesis film, The Dry Rain, got selected in different US film festivals.  Nowadays he keeps working in the film industry.  He has done various short films - as a writer, editor and director - and worked in different features film, normally as an AD. 


In Spain he works for Zeta Cinema, a well known production company in Spain, where he develops marketing packages and trailers for feature films. For the future to come Guillem is getting ready to start the preproduction for his first feature film. 

Guillem Gutiérrez Saura nació en España en el año 1992. Comenzó dirigiendo a la temprana edad de los 12 años. Su pasión por el cine le llevó a estudiar Realización en España. Al mismo tiempo dirigió una webserie, "Ellas," que llegó a ser conocida en su país de origen. Después de terminar sus estudios en España, Guillem viajó a Nueva York para completar un año más de estudios en dirección de cine. Fue allí, en Estados Unidos, donde su tesis, "The Dry Rain", fue seleccionada en varios festivales de cine Estadounidenses. Guillem ha completado como guionista, montador y director, varios cortometrajes y, además, ha trabajado en dos largometrajes. 


En España trabaja para Zeta Cinema, una conocida productora de cine, donde realiza la creatividad de las campañas de marketing de las diferentes películas de la productora. 

Para el futuro, Guillem está preparándose para comenzar la preproducción de lo que sería su primer largometraje. 

HENRY CAICEDO, lead actor                             protagonista masculino

A Colombia native, Henry moved around the states before finally settling with his family in Florida.  There, he attended the University of South Florida majoring in Mass Communications and Theater. Afterwards he moved to New York where he studied Film and Television at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic arts.  Upon graduating Henry had the opportunity to work on several stage productions including "Prophet of Borough Park" Davenport Theatrical (A steady Rain) "Transubstantiation" Andre Glant-Linden (Phantom of the Opera) and Recently starred as Romeo in an independent feature film, "Romeo and Juliet in Harlem"

Un Nativo de Colombia, Henry se movió alrededor de los estados unidos hasta que su familia se estableció en la Florida.  Henry estudo en la Universidad de Florida del Sur donde se enfoco en Theatro y Communicaciones.  En Nueva York, Henry estudio actuación para Televisoin y Peliculas en la New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.  Henry tiene varios creditos en teatro, incluyendo, "Prophet of Borough Park," "Transubstantiation;" y recientemente, Henry termino su papel como Romeo and la pelicula, "Romeo y Julieta en Harlem."

Lizzy Ireton is originally from Akron, Ohio, where she performed the leading roles in three consecutive high school musicals, Chava in Fiddler On The Roof; Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun; and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls.  After high school, Lizzy attended Ohio State University where she majored in Theatre and performed in student a cappella groups.  Upon graduating as a Buckeye, Lizzy moved to the Big Apple to pursue her dreams as a stage actress.  She has acted in several original play workshops at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre and various staged readings of new plays at NYU and The New School.  The Mezcal Trilogy is Lizzy's film debut.  She is grateful for the opportunity, learned a lot, and had so much fun

discovering Cuba as an actor in this film, and hopes to one day visit Cuba as a tourist.
